iPhone VoIP
Betamax, most hated but most used VoIP service in the world recently launched there new iPhone application. This is a new step for Betamax and this will attract many new customers to start using there service more. Betamax is as we all know, one of the most unreliable services in the world.
They raise prices randomly and they always work on volume of calls to a country. This is not a good business stand. This new iPhone application will lure in thousands of customers who use the iPhone. It is a great way to get customers.
The new trend is Mobile VoIP. Mobile VOIP has been growing crazily for the past many years now. It will keep growing the way it is so as fast as VOIP companies can integrate VoIP applications the better.
Betamax has taken a stand and provides alot of good features but if you want reliability this is not the service to use. You can check out there Mobile iPhone application at:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mobilevoip/id362528311?mt=8
Try it out but dont get too into Betamax. There are plenty of better services around this site, pick on of those.

Cheapest VOIP Calls to India by Pidipompi Review

in Cheapest VOIP Calls, Reviews
Call India for 1 Cent/Minute? Maybe not!
India’s calling rates are lowering by the day. Pidipompi, a cheap VoIP provider, is giving the cheapest VoIP calls to India at 1 cent/minute. This is a great offer by the outside but if you read the fine print, there are many issues. Pidipompi is a scam to steal people’s money. Lets review this VOIP service.
If you go to Pidipompi’s website you will see a big logo that says “Calls to India for 1 cent/minute”. After clicking it, it will show you all the rates and information. First you will need to add $10 to your account, with a $3.99 service charge. So this brings the total cost to $14.00. From the outside, $10 is 1 Cent/minute to India but they never counted the service charges. This is to trick those people who trust companies and don’t bother to read the TOS.
At $14.00, you only get $10 of talk time. So you are paying 1.4 cents per minute. See how Pidipompi tricks there customers into paying a general India rate. If this is the actually per minute charge, then provides like Rebtel, Localphone, and the best one, Lingo give the cheapest VoIP calls to India. Along with the rates, they also allow you to only keep the service for 60 days, after that you will lose your credit. You can see an excerpt right from there site will all this info:
The $ 9.99 plan of GLOBAL-DIAL has an administration cost of $ 3.99, on the balance of $ 6 you get the rate of 1 cent /min on Local Access. This is applicable on calls terminating on any mobile phone in India; i.e. you get an amazing 600 mins in just $ 9.99 on local access and 2¢/min extra using toll free numbers.
The worst part is yet to come. You will be charge the highest rate possible from Pidipompi until you talk for $4 worth and bring your credit to $6. When you hit that threshold, you will be able to talk for 1 cent/minute. This is ridiculous! So this plan is not the cheapest plan it is the worst plan.
Pidipompi is a NOT recommended VOIP service if you want cheape voip calls to India. There are better alternatives and many are provide in this blog. Try Lingo, as it gives unlimited calls to India.

Zenofon – Select Call Quality – WORST Feature
by nahid5692001 on May 15, 2010
in VOIP Services
Zenofon
When Zenofon first launched, it took the VoIP world by shock. There unique referral system was perfect for people who wanted to make free calls. But those days are over and things have cooled down and the real mask of Zenofon was taken out. Zenofon has most likely the worst phone call quality out of all VoIP service. There is a lot of background noise and it takes many tries just to get connected to India, Bangladesh, or Pakistan.
There newest feature is a interesting one but a worthless one! Let me explain. They implemented a system where users will be able to call and if they do not appreciate the call quality they are able to choose out of 10 numbers the quality they want. Now there are MANY things wrong with this picture!
For example, say you are calling India and you just lost money calling the first time. Then you want to switch so you do so. You switch to #2 connection and call again, then it still is not good. So you switch again and again. Do you get the picture? In the end, you are the one losing immense amounts of money to “try” there connections when it could be the same one.
With this new feature, Zenofon will be able to steal even more of your money by giving bad customer service and quality. It is a promise of a VoIP Service to give the best route with best quality. If the customer has to do the choosing then this is wrong. Zenofon must give the perfect quality right from the start.
It is recommended that you DO NOT try Zenofon! You will lose alot of your money and there is no need for it. There are plenty of better services out there.
Final Verdict: Do not try Zenofon!
RingIndia.in – VoIP Scam!
by nahid5692001 on May 15, 2010
in VOIP Providers
RingIndia.in is a new service that things they launched. This is a big scam and should not be used. If you check there site you will see how unprofessional they are. There title and explanations all have many misspellings. There prices are REALLY cheap but it is just a scam to take away your money.
There many issues with there site that just stray customers away and one can know it is a scam before even signing up. First, there payment options are not available, many misspellings, website is not secure, website has not contact info, website links do not work!
Why try a service that will not work at all? There is no reason to take risks when cheap call providers are available like uVOIPit. Please stay away from RingIndia.in!
