AS: Given that wholesale minutes are commodity and anyone can buy them, why do you think others will not be able to imitate your business model?

WJ: The key component is having a knowledge of and presence in the US ad universe. This is what distinguishes us.

AS: Are you planning to expand services to other countries (both initiation and termination)? Any timelines?

WJ: For the foreseeable future, we will concentrate on providing service for US residents. There is so much ground to cover here.

AS: Where do you see FreePhone2Phone in the next few years?

WJ: We will introduce other free services that you can access by phone. “Free phone calls” is a good way to get users on our network.

AS: Are you looking for collaborations, acquisitions, or partnerships with other companies in this space?

WJ: Currently, no. We’re well-funded and want to concentrate on executing our business plan.

Fring developed first VOIP app, what will Google do?

Google has been expanding there company in all directions possible. They entered the telecommunication industry and now is a big shot at that. They developed the Android phone and the GoogleVoice in the phone business. VOIP is still new to Google so they bought Gizmo5, a well established VOIP service. Google gets what they want.

Fring has announced the world’s first Android VOIP application. Well Google has lost this battle because they were not the first. What does this mean? What do you think Google will do? Looking at there trends of takeovers, most likely Google will develop there own Android VOIP app to compete with Fring.

Google owns two of the most used services in the world, Voice and Gizmo5. If they wanted they could develop the best VOIP application for any phone made ever. Integrated Gizmo5 with GoogleVoice to produce an Android VOIP application would be revolutionary. There is already a Android Voice application in the market today but it is not a VOIP application. Let us see the scenarios that Google might incorporate.

Google uses Gizmo5′s SIP Service

This is the most anticipate outcome. Acquiring Gizmo5 was a big step in the VOIP world. This means Google will slowly integrate themselves towards VOIP. AllVOI also has a adapter fee. They charge you for there special adapter. This is another $20 deposit when signing up. It is a one time fee. But why pay this when Lingo gives this to you for free? AllVOI is a new provider that is till trying to get there roots while Lingo is competing for that #1 spot with Vonage.

Overall, AllVOI is a good provider but if you want a reliable service than most go with Lingo. Nonetheless, both services will give free VOIP phone calls to India. Test out the service for the cheapest VOIP Calls and sew how the AllVOI Unlimited India plans are.
